Luisa here! Lover of travel, art & adventure - I’m the full-time photographer behind the lens, here to make your experience in front of it all sorts of MAGIC.

I’ve been a creative soul my entire life. I spent my childhood taking photos on my tiny supermarket camera and have always been fascinated by printed photographs. Isn’t it incredible that with just one click, you can freeze a moment in time and then hold onto that special feeling forever?

I’ve got a massive heart for artistic expression and am drawn to playing with light , composition and the natural elements that surround us. Originally from South-West Germany, my work is often influenced by my European roots - there’s just something about the lifestyle, colours, fashion & architecture that translates so beautifully onto camera.

I see photography as my tool to capture soulful moments & human connection - and then celebrate them forever in artistic form. My style is modern, feminine and timeless, but my ultimate priority is that your photos evoke a feeling, one that is 100% you.

Apiata

Lead-VIDEOgrapher

Born by the moana (ocean) on the East Cape of NZ, Apiata - or Api for short - is our full-time videographer and filmmaker.

Api is one of the most passionate filmmakers you’ll ever meet, though his excitement is balanced by the kind, warm, calm presence he brings to every shoot. If you’re feeling nervous, Api is the guy who’ll put you at ease in seconds! 

His strength is creating meaningful stories, and also capturing all those in-between moments (like your grandfather stealing a kiss from your grandmother) that would otherwise disappear forever. 

Api’s wild sense of adventure is a big part of his spirit - he’s a sucker for sports and adrenaline activities, and has travelled the world over with his skydiving career before eventually moving into film. When he’s not editing or filming, you’ll find him somewhere outdoors on a paragliding mission or surf trip.

  • Hallo. Ich bin Luisa.

    I grew up in South-West Germany, in a little village called Wadern (close to Luxembourg & France). My home away from home is Aotearoa, but there’s no feeling like going back to the place where I'm surrounded by the people and memories who’ve shaped who I am today.

    Kia ora. Ko api toku ingoa.

    Api grew up in the North Island, in a small town called Ruatoria close to Gisborne. He’s connected to Ngāti Porou & Ngāi Tahu and loves speaking his mother tongue. He moved to the capital Wellington as a teenager.
